Founded in 1822 the company boasts a history of over 200 years In 2017 the company established an agricultural corporation jointly with local farmers to engage in full scale in house cultivation of sake rice and focus on consistent local sake production In addition to aiming to secure a stable supply of safe, secure, and high quality locally produced sake rice, the company is producing its own sake rice while cultivating farmland in mountainous areas.
About Sake Rice
Koshitanrei is a sake rice variety created by crossing some of the best sake rice in Japan in order to produce the best sake in other words, Koshitanrei is the best sake rice that has been assamlaged to produce the best sake.
This variety, which is only allowed to be produced in this region, has evolved sake to a supreme taste.
All of the sake offered at Global Samurai is produced using this Koshitanrei sake rice.
